Many Christians want to share Jesus, but feel awkward, anxious or unlike themselves when spiritual conversations come up.
Mission as Me is a practical workshop about how to share Jesus without becoming someone you’re not. Instead of the usual “try harder, be bolder” messaging, you’ll be encouraged to be yourself and grow with the strength God provides.
This year the focus is on identifying our strengths and praying that God will use us by his Holy Spirit even when we feel weak. Simply work through the following videos and worksheets with your Growth Group.
Part 1: Who does mission? [e.g. 15mins]
It’s easy to feel like we don’t have a place in God’s mission, because we’re not good at it, or we haven’t seen much fruit from it. But God is here to help all of us play a role.

Discuss: When it comes to the transforming work of the Holy Spirit, what aspects of your personality do you expect to be “changed” and what do you expect to stay the same?
Part 2: What about gifting and personality? [e.g. 20mins]
Some Christians are more gifted at mission than others, but all Christians have the Holy Spirit and can bring different skills and resources to the table.

Part 3: Where can the Spirit help me grow? [e.g. 20mins]

Part 4: What are realistic expectations? [e.g. 15mins]
Some of us pray for a revival, others talk as if the soil is hard and mission is impossible. Do I expect many people to become Christian over the next 10 years? Do I expect God to use me in any way to help people start following Jesus?
